Walls of Glass
The city of Charlotte took me a bit by surprise. Maybe, in part, because I expected it to be a smaller and older looking city. But in reality, I found it fairly large and architecturally beautiful. It's easy to see why Charlotte has gotten itself on the map as a city on the rise. It's a diversified city with a distinct modern element while it manages to maintain a strong respect for its cultural heritage of being a great southern city. It carries itself as a wonderful melting pot of both old and new.
I took this shot while walking between several modern buildings that were connected by glass enclosed bridges, but had an open atrium ... to the moon.
