The Art of a Museum
This is the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was designed by Swiss architect Mario Botta, who also designed the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
I have a thing for visiting art museums and it's extra special when the museum that houses the art is art itself. It's got a soaring glass atrium that extends through the museum's core that diffuses natural light throughout the building. The exterior is completely enveloped in terra cotta tiles.
