The Nemo
The Nemo Science Museum was practically right next to my hotel, but since the main part of the city wasn't in this direction, I never walked over. The day before heading out of Amsterdam, it was cold and overcast so I decided not to go off exploring too far. Backpacks, tripods, coats, ponchos, cold weather and heavy rain never seem to make photography much fun.
After walking around the rain swept city for a few hours, I headed back to the hotel. By the time I got there the rain had let up, so I decided to walk to the end of the pier. That's the Nemo at the end of the bridge. Kind of cool as it looks like the bow of a boat sitting in the water. I took this shot walking on the bridge heading over. Funny thing is that I never took the time to go into the museum.
