The Cathedral of Monaco
Although my time in Monaco was very limited, I wanted to visit this iconic church. It was built in 1875 from stones brought in from La Turbie, a commune in the French Alps. Even more impressive is that it was built on the site of a 13th century church that was dedicated to Saint Nicholas. It is also the final resting place for Princess Grace. Enough with the facts, you say!
Here is a handheld photograph taken inside the entrance of this stunning cathedral. The light being cast from the windows gave the arches and columns a beautiful depth and wonderful focal point.
