The Colors of San Francisco
This is the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco in Lima. Unlike many churches that I've visited in the past, it was brilliantly colorful and painted in a very unique style. Built in 1674, it's a classic example of Spanish Baroque style. It's painted in "mudejar" style: a mix of Moorish and Spanish designs.
Interestingly, I almost missed this church as it's located in a very busy area and the area outside the church was a construction site.
