Notre-Dame on a Cold Winter Day
Sometimes opportunities present themselves at the most inopportune times. But as I've always said ... Opportunities don't come around all the time, so when they do, it's best to take advantage of them.
One morning I woke up in sunny south Florida and was offered the opportunity to hop on a plane to Paris. Besides my camera gear, I typically travel light. So, with carry-on in hand and my backpack filled with plenty of memory cards, it was off to Paris I went. Thirteen hours later, here I was standing outside Notre-Dame on a blistery and cold day. Next time, I will remember that a wind breaker usually does not do the job well in 32 degree weather. Yes, I had tourist written all over me.
