Windmills of Mykonos
Along the coast of Mykonos where it meets the Aegean Sea, there are four of these windmills in a row that are very popular with the tourists. I wanted to get a shot of all four in a row, but not only do they sit up on a hill, but there were just so many people hanging out. Long exposure with filter you say ... you would be correct had I brought all my gear with me.
As you can see, the windmills haven't worked for years, most of them being built in the 16th century by the Venetians. I think one of them has been turned into a museum, but I didn't see any of them open.
