View from the Pier

On my travels to Machu Picchu, I had the opportunity to spend several days in Lima. One afternoon I found myself in Miraflores and on a beautiful pier that was home to a wonderful restaurant on the South Pacific Ocean. The view of the cliffs as the sun began to drop created a beautiful backdrop to the canopies and walkway leading back to the beach. Off in the distance, you can see one of the many hang gliders making it’s way down from the top of the cliffs.
