Afternoon at Estes Park
After leaving Rocky Mountain National Park, we ran over to Estes Park and spotted this neat little pond as we were driving around. Making our way to the pond, we had to walk through an area where wild Elk were hanging around. In fact, there was a sign posted that read, "Do not approach Elk. They may attack without provocation." Whenever I can survive walking past Elk within 5 feet of me without being attacked, I consider it a real success! This is also a pretty good example of what you can get out of a Nikon D850 with a 24-70 f/2.8.
