In between the rain, snow and hail, the sun made a few brief appearances, lighting up the Aspen's and snow capped mountains.
As an aside, while I was taking this photo, there was a guy standing close by that had his camera set up on a tripod. When he saw me taking pictures, he had a perplexed look on his face and asked what I was doing. I looked at him and said, "what do you mean.? He said, "where's your tripod?" I said "it's sunny out, why would I need a tripod?" He just shook his head .... those Canon guys ... what can I say. 😉
