The Broken Windmill
Iconic to Mykonos are windmills. They seem to be all over the little island. Walking above the city, I came upon this broken and abandoned one. I'm not sure if most of the windmills in Mykonos are functional, but this one was certainly not going to do much of anything. Yet, somehow it seemed to be standing strong and still overlooking the city below after hundreds of years. I've read that most of them were built in the 16th century by the Venetians and were used for milling wheat.
