The Vertigo Staircase
There are some of you that may remember the Alfred Hitchcock movie "Vertigo." There is a famous scene that eerily looks familiar to this staircase.
We were fortunate enough to enter the Summer Palace from the rear, avoiding the long lines of waiting ticket holders. Upon entering the building, we were asked to wait in a small hallway. I walked underneath the staircase, looked up and behold ... Vertigo!
