Wintertime in Paris and I decided to take a quick tour to get a feel for the city. Since it was my first trip to Paris, I like to do this and take notes on different areas that I want to return to the following day. I made my way up to the top deck of the bus and given the strong winds and 34 degree temp, I wasn't surprised to find myself alone up there. As my fingers began to freeze and my eyes watered, not out of delight, I kept telling myself that this was an amazing adventure that I would most likely survive.
Rounding a corner by the Trocadero, we stopped directly in front of the Eiffel and I couldn't resist taking this shot.
As an aside, I put this photo up on a number of websites and was contacted by the Paris Office of Tourism to ask if they could use the image for one of their campaigns.
