Judgement

Some time ago, during a "happy hour" conversation, my close friend said, "Hey, I've got this idea for one of your photographs." He went into great detail about his "vision" and asked me if I would humor him and make an attempt. Somehow, during the midnight hours, this turned out to be my interpretation of his alcohol induced "vision." Vision ... get it?! I know ... I should have gone to bed earlier that night.

On a more serious note, three months after this photo was completed, my dear friend tragically took his own life. And so, to you, Stephen Rosenthal, I dedicate this image, and hope that in the end, judgement has brought you to a better place.
