Wheel in the Sky

Here's the Roue de Paris. It's not just a ferris wheel, but it's a 200 foot tall transportable ferris wheel. I was lucky enough to find the wheel at the Place de la Concorde in Paris, but what's interesting is that this is a "touring" attraction. It's been to numerous locations in England, Amsterdam, Thailand, Belgium and Italy. Each time it's name was changed to suit the country where it was making is tour. Believe it or not, it only takes 3 days to erect the wheel and less to take it back down. Sadly, I didn't get the opportunity to ride it.
