As a photographer, I do tend to travel quite a bit, and often to some pretty distant locations. And like most people, I tend to disregard the beauty that may be just outside my door.
I've said it before, but I do like spending a lot of time at the beach in the early morning and late night hours after the sun worshippers have gotten their fill. This area of the beach is located less than a mile from my front door and while it wasn't the exact location I was heading to, as I looked to the east, I caught some rays of light that told me I better get things moving along pretty quickly.
