Lazy Morning along the Matanzas River
We headed up to Saint Augustine with a small group to do a photo walk and after a full day, we decided to set up our tripods for some early evening shots along the River. But, as luck would have it, the winds had kicked up and the boats were doing the "Jailhouse Rock," which doesn't get along well with longer exposures. So, we decided to call it a night, grab a bite and see if we'd have better luck in the morning.
While the winds had died down over night and the sky began to glow with color, we were able to finally get our shots. All well and good except for the story behind the photos ... mosquitos! Call me paranoid, but I'm thinking that some kind of message was passed along to the mosquito tribes from Jacksonville to Miami, letting them know that a bunch of fair skinned guys with juicy legs were going to be in town for a couple of days. Message received loud and clear!
We had a very itchy ride home ...
