Sky on Fire

I took this shot at the Deerfield Beach Pier. I actually drove up there to get a shot of the "Super Moon," which kind of happened. Not only was it a very cloudy day, which led me believe that the moon shot might not be in the cards, but it was also super windy. I grabbed my long exposure filter kit and figured I'd make the best of it. Being a gadget geek, I also had a remote control shutter release that's usually required when taking long exposures. All ready to go and the remote is a no go ... dead battery perhaps?! Here's the shot I was able to get while manually holding down the shutter with my finger for a bit shy of two minutes.
