Winter Along the Seine
Traveling a lot, I often don't have the opportunity to catch the best times to visit one location or another. But given the chance to head over to Paris, even in the middle of winter, is an opportunity I'll gladly take. And being one of those foolish American's from south Florida, it couldn't really get that cold in the winter, could it?
Yes, that was me in the bitter cold, walking around Paris in a light jacket like it was a cool Autumn day. I reassured everyone with me, most of them wearing thick North Face gear, that I was perfectly fine, never revealing the fact that my hands had gone numb an hour or so earlier.
I took this shot standing by the Seine, not far from the Louvre behind me. Paris is one of those cities that is able to pull off "beautiful" any time of the year.
