Drink with a View
Along the shore of the harbor sit a number of quaint restaurants that offer some of the freshest seafood and best views of the harbor and Aegean Sea you could ask for. In the distance is Castle of St. Peter, built in 1402 by the Knights of Saint John, early Catholic military crusaders.
With long lines and a storm looming, we decided not to tour the castle, which I've heard houses a wonderful nautical museum. Now that I think about it, I always seem to find reasons to return to these amazing locations. Considering it's been standing a little over 600 years, I'm betting it'll be there the next time I make it back.
