Standing on Water

Down where the sea meets the beautiful island of Mykonos, it almost seems as if the buildings are sitting directly on water. And when you think about it, being so exposed, it doesn't seem like it would take much of a storm to swallow up these relatively small buildings. Flood insurance, anyone?

In any case, set against the neighboring island mountains and the turquoise waters, they are a beautiful and quintessential Mykonos vision.
