A Grand View
I never seem to get enough time in Venice. I think most people think the same thing, unless of course you live there. But there's just so much to take in that you always leave with the idea that you'll be back sooner than later.
During my last visit, while I only had two days, my main goal was to take photos at night when the city sleeps and the tourists head out to sea. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it out that night and missed my opportunity. Obviously, this will necessitate a return trip .... someone ... please twist my arm!!
I took this shot leaning over the rail of a vaporetto or waterbus. It's their public transportation system.
